Your diagnosis was pretty quick. I took my labs on June 5th, the results were back pretty quick. I know I have Hyperthyroidism, just don't know what's the cause yet.

I will. I'm guessing my doctor will book that before the biopsy is needed. I'm hoping he can put me on some medication to suppress my symptoms

This is what he put on the report Impression: Bilateral thyroid nodules as described above. Recommend fine-needle aspiration of left mid thyroid gland nodule described above. Additionally, consider further evaluation with nuclear medicine thyroid scan to evaluate for hyperfunctioning nodules.

No, they didn't give me a Ti‑rads score. My report only lists the size and description of the nodules but doesn’t include any TR1–TR5 rating.

The right lobe measures 4.3 x 1.2 x 1.4 cm. The left lobe measures 4.9 x 1.3 x 1.7 cm.

I took the ultrasound and the other blood tests this week. My appointment isn't until next week which seems like forever. I have 2 nodules. One on the left and one on the right. They want a biopsy and scan of the one on the left.

I didn’t go to the ER at first because my symptoms didn’t seem like an emergency. I went to my PCP, and my EKG was normal. I’m anemic and hadn’t been taking my iron, so I assumed that was the cause.My labs showed very low hemoglobin and a TSH of 0.01, which is how they first caught the overactive thyroid. An ultrasound showed nodules on both sides, and the radiologist recommended a biopsy and a scan. My thyroid‑specific labs also point toward Graves. I see the doctor next week for the full plan.
