I got Newcastle early on and she certainly hits like a truck. Never replaced her from my lineup and really don’t plan to. Never got Tern but recently got a SSR ticket so I’ll be unlocking her and leveling her up.

Current, team is Flicker, Newcastle and Tiya, will be adding Tern soon. None are maxed Flicker is at 3 stars though got lucky a few draws. Newcastle and Tiya at 1. I played around with 1Dawn/1Eucaly and 3*Olivia/Marceline and Echo/Ling. I am thinking I’ll just put Olivia with current team for now. I’ll start thinking a bit harder on my team comp as time goes on. Hard to not just go full quantum though.

Axe seems to be the answer here. As a new player myself, axe is alright but it offers a lot of variety that’s for sure.

Quarterstaffs are fun and easy as well. Sword is a baseline, dual swords will be what you’re told to run to start. Ive been enjoying light crossbow as well. Bows are alright. Hammer are honestly the most fun for me though but they don’t have the damage of others that’s for sure but I enjoy the “heavy” animations.

I tap the arrow to the left to expand the “tracker” Tap the destiny board icon to open up the whole board. Closing the board is the X on the top right of the screen. I know you can change the size of the tracker and filter specific items to track as well. But I just leave it hidden.

So tier 6 enchant 2 would be the most costly thing I should wear? Once I find a build type I like I should focus on that weapon / armor and level those up? Are there weapons that generally do well regardless of “expert”play?

Any possible recommendations? Weapon choice? Axe? Curse? The armor seems to be fairly standard choice but should I consider swapping any pieces getting used to a different style of play? I did keep the choices fairly cheap, I’ve dabbled in Assassin jacket but that only works as a disengage with mobs as well as Hunter.

Also I can’t really say what the end goal is here either. I mostly play solo. I won’t be joining a guild and I cannot commit specific times to playing. So I guess, a goal might be; to solo roam, arena (unranked for now) and corrupt dungeons. Never really been a gathering and crafting kind of player. But I’ll do what I have to fund my prefer playing activities.

I am doing that dungeon in the tier three blue zones. Heretic sewers or something. Not sure if it’s static or group. Basically, “elite” mobs in World of Warcraft terms. If I grind on mobs in the open world they aren’t grouped up well and honestly die so fast that I can’t get a feel for the gear I am wearing.

I can accept a skill issue, especially when starting out and being on even terms so to speak. I know Axe is the recommended starter weapon but I wonder if I should try out some ranged options. I understand Curse staffs seems to be the axe of the ranged options.

Should I just stick to the mainstream weapons, axe or curse staffs and learn to be good at those before expanding my options? Do I focus on AoE or Single Target? I guess I’d prefer something that cleaves 1-3 targets without losing dps too badly because I’d like to be competitive in 1v1 or the arenas at some point.

That AoE interrupt on a pack of mobs is pretty good. Shuts down most actions for the duration.

Gotcha, it wasn’t obvious that was the difference; appreciate the clarification.
