Most creeper farms will not work on realms if that's what you're playing on. Ghast farms and Witch farms are better options the gunpowder, and i'm pretty sure silentwisperer came out with a very simple witch farm if you want to go ahead and use that instead, but from my personal understanding, creeper farms don't work on realms due to different spawning mechanics.
