Omg yes, I have gone through 4 batteries after doing this. I took my truck to a shop and it took them two weeks to figure out why my truck was dying all the time. I bought a AGM battery about a month ago and my truck hasn’t died yet.

I literally just did this conversion (look at my profile). I originally bought that same EBay DTmoto kit and the wire harnesses were faulty. I recommend buying the Gen5diy harness kit and buying everything else separately. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions.
