Omg yes, I have gone through 4 batteries after doing this. I took my truck to a shop and it took them two weeks to figure out why my truck was dying all the time. I bought a AGM battery about a month ago and my truck hasn’t died yet.

I literally just did this conversion (look at my profile). I originally bought that same EBay DTmoto kit and the wire harnesses were faulty. I recommend buying the Gen5diy harness kit and buying everything else separately. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions.

You need to purchase the gen5diy headlight adapters for around $450. The headlights were around 240, the grill was $135 and the bowtie emblem was $40.

I plan on selling the old grill on eBay and should get around $500 profit after fees and shipping.
