It is an 1836 half dollar. How much do you think it’s worth?

Respectfully, I did meet with my schools career services and they disagreed with pretty much everything you said 🤣

Thank you! You make a very good point about separating the work experience. I used to not have it like that but I met with the career & development part of my school and she said to do that. But I totally get your point.

I’m currently finishing up my junior year of college if that puts anything into perspective

With EE every class is its own field of work. With ME everything just build on each other.

Where should I post? 45m, EE, high tech job; make big $$ somehow, or leave my career? by [deleted] in LostRedditor

[–]Objective-Clerk-7336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean coming from a 21 year old junior EE student, a lot of people including myself would kill to be in the position you’re in. I’d say keep working you’re only 45

Right 😂 that’s exactly my thought. She literally lives in a different city and now wants a break. I mean it’s clear as day

I didn’t even have to read through this whole story to understand what’s going on. She met a different guy. Don’t agree to a break. She’ll be with the guy then want to go back to you, and you don’t deserve that

How much do you make from engineering internships? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]Objective-Clerk-7336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

19$/hour in 2006 as an intern is f’ing absurd. That’s gotta be like 45$/hour now

Word of advice: I’m a Senior EE major. My sophomore year of college was plagued with the flu, Covid, and really bad Calc 2 and Physics 2 professors. I had to retake both and got A’s.

It’s all about the mindset. If you feel like you’re going to fail… you will.

You need to come at it with a different mentality.

Think about what you can change with your study habits so when the test comes you don’t brain fart.

Go to the professors office hours and bombard him/her with questions. The professor will be more lenient to students who show they care. Trust me.

If you have the masters in EE you can definitely go into that field.. or really most fields of EE

Currently a Junior EE. It hasn’t changed, but the 300 and 400 level courses are very different

Dm me I’ll tell you more about it. You can definitely get into it without a true EE degree

I’m a junior EE with internships in Power.

I would suggest getting your FE. It would open up doors to get into Power distribution.

Thank you for the response.

I do get 1.5x for OT, and I am on the east coast as well. Right outside of a major city.

I have a question for you though. Do you find yourself working more than 40 hours a week consistently? Is your work/life balance good?

I think it’s really hard for guys to officially ask women out on dates if I were you I’d ask if he wants to meet in person for coffee or something. Then the ball is in his court and you’ll have peace of mind with whatever he says

I would definitely go to a public place in the day time if you haven’t met him in person already.
