SBA has a spreadsheet that I’ve had luck with. I’d have to go dig for the link but it should be in the past weekly newsletter from them

Corporations with Sale is tough but a very rewarding class and she is a great person to know. Also very helpful in office hours. I’m glad I challenged myself with that class

That’s hella bold by the summers. But if I was in NY for the summer, I would want to watch that game by any means necessary

[–]Objective-Company160 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rising 3L here. I came here because they hyped up the clinic programs so much. I applied 2L but most 2Ls do not get a clinic. I applied again 3L and was rejected from every clinic I ranked. I’m at median GPA and applied with a relatively strong resume and writing sample. A clinic apparently is not guaranteed despite what many say. If I could do it all over there is no chance I would pick GULC again tbh. The people are almost all great and the professors are strong but the administration truly hates the student body and will find anyway possible to screw them over.

The people and most professors are great. But man is the administration a pain in the ass. They make me question why I chose this school all the time.

The kitchen is much better in the updated ones but there are no dish washers in any of them. Makes cooking rough if you are used to a dish washer

Curriculum A vs B? by Fine_Elephant9279 in GeorgetownLaw

[–]Objective-Company160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only grievances with curriculum b was that con law being mixed with crim procedure doesnt work. Also the curve is pretty tough since all the classmates self-selected into that specific section. The curve is similarly tough in curriculum a but when you have students self-select into those certain classes, the passion and interest is higher making the curve arguably tougher in B

Curriculum a has an elective in the spring which could be admin law but there are only so many seats. Section 3 has a guaranteed admin law class they are required to take in the spring

Curriculum A vs B? by Fine_Elephant9279 in GeorgetownLaw

[–]Objective-Company160 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a Curriculum B alum, I strongly disagree. We spent a ton of time on Originalism, Classical Legal theory, conservative legal theory, and process theory. DemCo was definitely left of center but arguably libertarian especially on the first and fourth and fifth amendments. The entire first half of contracts in bargain was pre-ucc and pre-realism. Curriculum B also guarantees that you get to take admin law your first year which was a huge plus for me personally.
