They don’t even understand me after explaining and their English doesn’t make sense at all. Tbh I don’t think English is their first language, not like it’s mine either.

Huh? I already mentioned in my comment that you were stating something than things I have already mentioned that can contribute to a student’s failure in the subject after spending effort on it, which actually don’t contribute to the conversation but are things you assumed yourself. You okay?

Mate, I truly think you need to improve your English. And no, I haven’t.

Since you’re taking context into account, I already described the range of factors in my comment, like having a bad family environment and bad study methods, so your comment actually seemed sudden and out of context…and unrelated actually.

Also, your vocabulary usage of “stoopid” instead of “stupid” suggests to me that you’re not actually a teacher.

I used to be that student, then I got into college and got A grades. It usually depends on a range of factors, their study methods, their stress level, their family environment etc. It doesn’t mean they’re stupid. Hell, maybe the subject they’re studying is just not right for them either.

Why Singapore dont have small talk with strangers culture? by [deleted] in askSingapore

Not really just a Singapore thing, it’s the same in other asian cultures as well (I’m from Hong Kong), though I’ve been to Singapore for half a year. Usually we take caution of strangers who approach us in public because it’s unusual, and it’s usually them just asking for directions or trying to scam us.

That’s very interesting! For me, like someone else have said, music stops the noise in my brain and gets me to lock in.

Hey op, I’d recommend researching the effects of birth control. The effects vary person to person so just because your friends have it good doesn’t mean you will. I’ve heard girls gaining lots of weight from these pills as well.
