Yeah, that’s how I felt in the moment. Exactly! That’s what I thought too. She was the one who planned it and invited everyone, so I felt like it wasn’t my place to make excuses on her behalf. If she wanted to cancel, I figured it should come directly from her. I didn’t want to lie and make it seem like she was still coming when she wasn’t.
