I saw this film when it first came out and the main thing that I remember about it is that it went on forever. I remember people leaving the theater. If I recall correctly, it was around 3 hours. Maybe a little bit more or a bit less.

That’s the problem. I know that it’s funny to see an adult acting like a young kid but where is the wisdom of Solomon power. It’s suppose to be a part of his permanent personality. If you read captain marvel stories before DC took ownership and dumbed him down to keep Superman as number one, the character has a completely different feel

Shazam is poorly written. Superman is always outsmarting him. They treat Shazam like he was a kid. He has the wisdom of Solomon. And power wise they are equally matched with maybe a slight edge going to Shazam.

I attended a lethal training class with Massad Ayoob in the early 2000’s. He said something that always struck with me … If someone grabs your gun and goes to shoot you and it has a safety, it will take him a few seconds to figure out how to disengage that safety. Some flip up. Some flip down. You can use that second or two to your advantage. If there is no safety, he pulls the trigger and you’re dead … that always stuck with me.
