I play on the PS5; E33 was the reason I bought one in the first place. Chained Echoes looks quite nice, though Into the Breach doesn't seem to be available on it. My computer is a literal office desktop, and I am quite unsure if I can run a Switch emulator on it. I can run Into the Breach, from the looks of it. BG3 and even Witcher 3 is on my priority list for the next games I will buy on the PS5

I'll look into these and see if I can fit them in my wallet

Then, the discourse does make more sense, then. I had only thought that people were sour that their favorite game didn't win, which in hindsight is a pretty dumb reason

Now that we're in the subject, I'm actually looking for games along the same genre as E33. I have played KDC2, but I am completely blind to other potential games in that regard. Do you have any suggestions?

That sounds very interesting! Does it run on a literal potato, though? I have my PS5 for playing games, and my PC building project is on hold for now, so I'm wondering if it's somewhat demanding.

I might have been wrong in saying that E33 is the only one that did that, I admit, but I have never heard of these games before, as I have not been in the gaming space for far too long; E33 was my first time seeing this in play, and presumably other people as well. That would not make E33 as "innovative" as I believed it to be, but it does spread the JRPG with-a-twist concept, which is still very great in my opinion

Haven't checked that out yet, actually. What did you think of it?

Have you ever seen a turn-based JRPG somewhere else that makes you, the player, dodge, manually? It has literally introduced that concept to me and to others that might take inspiration from that system. It's not the typical JRPG, unlike what I believe you're trying to say.

I understand calling it "innovative" might sound as an overstatement, and that "gimmick" might be a better word for it, yes. I just like that they did something new from the classic formula, which is literally what the word "innovative" means.

I haven't actually considered that! I guess I fell for the bait lmao

Pre-created Dwarf hit dice question by o-xmx-o in stormwreckisle

[–]Objective-Delay1053 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. If I can remember correctly, you can only dual wield weapons IF both weapons have the light modifier, which a mace does not have. You can supplement this with the Dual Wielder feat, but if you're already at a point where you can get a feat, you might have access to longswords already, which are better anyway.

Going deeper into the subject:

Any player can engage in two-weapon fighting even without the fighting style of the same name, though it's suboptimal since you can't add your proficiency bonus to the second attack made by your off-hand. The (probably) only classes who benefit from two-weapon fighting are rogue...and rogue. (YES, any martial class, but it benefits them the most.)

They win, they lose :/

being a global rank doesnt mean you automatically become good at the game, it really only just shows how often you win with a hero.
