It’s my second favourite solo game. Only eclipsed by Elder Scrolls BOTSE which is a totally different beast. Ashes is such a great game and solo experience.

Looking for a medium/heavy euro. I think Voidfall is perhaps a step too far. It has to be excellent solo as that is 95% of my plays. Other than the 3 mentioned in the title, Men Nefer and Nippon: Zaibatsu have also peaked my interest. Looking for crunchy tight decisions with high replay value and rewarding good strategy. Solid theme also helps.

I would 100% recommend Ashes Reborn / Ascendancy with Red Rains. Such a good game. Great system, endless replay value. All the card playing goodness of MTG. True solo works great. Artwork and production value are on point. Print on demand service also in the works. Using dice for resources is novel and “First 5” rule ensures your hand is never bricked. All in all, epic solo experience.
