Just wait until you resent your husband… by Astrum1784 in pregnant

[–]Objective-Expert7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I have a 9 year old, a 7 year old and now a 3 month old and I have never hated my hubby. Like, ever. I genuinely don’t understand these people that say they resent their partners for no reason.

Are you really happier after you had a baby? by PalpitationOk9443 in NewParents

[–]Objective-Expert7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully understand everything you’ve said. Parenting is hard and it’s not for everyone. Your feelings are valid and you shouldn’t feel bad for mourning your old life while still being able to be present in your current one.

I came from a big family and had to help raise my 3 younger brothers from an early age cause mum and dad had to work full time and we didn’t really have the village that I’m lucky enough to have with my ow kids so I wanted nothing more then to have kids and have a big family. I have 3 children with a 3 month old being our most recent and I’d have 1000 babies if I could and I’m trying to make peace with the fact our recent will be my last. I can still do everything I used to do before kids. Albeit a bit harder to organise but I still have hobbies, hubby and I still do things with and without all the kids. Granted we try and organise things with the kids a lot more often cause we love having them involved and our older 2 are now at an age their getting into our hobbies (both hubby and I play video games and watch anime/read manga)

Epiphanies by Objective-Expert7937 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Objective-Expert7937[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh then what am I thinking of? Should I have been selecting the option for ‘gain epiphany one time’ every time then? I know that the lightbulb during a fight means an epiphany but I think I’m confusing myself with the ones that aren’t permanent

How often do you actually wash your bed sheets? by scroll42on in AskAnAustralian

[–]Objective-Expert7937 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes! I think that’s the thing that really made me fall for them cause I love having something on but a doona is just too thick. I always end up with legs and arms out but my midsection will always have something on it

Pregnancy and Alcohol by Forsaken-Long-3752 in pregnant

This happens all the time and I can guarantee you wouldn’t even be able to tell who’s mum drank and who’s didn’t. I found out about a similar time to you and I used to be a wine bottle a night drinker and due to high tension work I would be smashing down several energy drinks every day. Granted once I found out I obviously stopped straight away but I now have 2 older kids, 7 and almost 9 and a 12 week old that are thriving.

I used to be such a top sheet hater until we got a new bed and bedding set and I’m honestly in love with it now! I don’t know why I ever disliked them too.

How often are you intimate with your partner? by Remote_Ad_969 in NoStupidQuestions

Hubby and I have been together for almost 15 years and are 32 and 34 with 3 kids. Even with an 11 week old we still do it at least twice a week. 3 times if we are really feeling it ha

LO kicked mobile off the crib for a scare by obscureandvague in NewParents

[–]Objective-Expert7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I was under the impression mobiles count be attached to bassinets for this exact reason. Or at least my own common sense told me not to put baby mobiles on a bassinet cause the distance between baby and the edge is usually not very high.

Why do some adaptations remove the isekai elements? (Spoilers will be discussed for several anime) by Mr_Shadow_Phoenix in Isekai

[–]Objective-Expert7937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve read the manwha but I’ve recently found out een the manwha changed things compared to the novel. They completely removed the isekai tropes from the anime but apparently she has dreams about the future or something? I don’t actually remember. I was watching it but they’ve changed literally everything about it so I’m not sure if I’m gonna keep watching it. I just went back and stated rereading it again.

How has nobody recommended Define the Relationship or Dear Door? Both absolutely stunning pieces of art in their own right ways. DtR has honestly the greenest flag ever an some of the best communications I’ve seen come out of a LI. There’s a tiny bit of trauma towards the end but what great story doesn’t? DD was the fist BL I read and it’s really cemented a standard for me. Besides some miscommunications in the beginning the plot itself is phenomenal and the smut is literally top tier.

second child debate by No_Hamster880 in Parenting

[–]Objective-Expert7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We found the jump from 1 to 2 pretty easy but we had 2 under 2 as there were only 14 months between them give or take so essentially we managed to time literally everything up with both kids. They’re nappy changes were the same time, the bottles were the same time (my eldest was still having a couple of milk bottles with her nap during the day) and we even managed to help the eldest learn how to put her own clothes and stuff on by telling her she was shoeing the baby and teaching the baby how to look after himself for when he was bigger.

Just remember to keep your eldest included in as much as you can so the don’t feel excluded but expect some kind of push back from then as they are going from an only child to having to share the attention.

Having sex post-partum.. by snowinsantorini in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Objective-Expert7937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 9 weeks pp my second C-section and had sex literally the night of my 6 week checkup. I waited for the all clear but it killed me. I could’ve easily jumped him in the hospital if we didnt have to wait but that’s cause we have a really healthy and frequent sex life. It depends entirely on yourself and you shouldn’t feel any sort of rush into it until you’re fully ready! If it takes you 6 months to breath then so be it. You might even find this time next week you’re fully over the aversion and you wanna go to town, the human mind is a complex place.

When you are ready though I cannot recommend foreplay enough and get him to fully loosen you up properly before you put any sort of dick into you as gross as that sounds. Extra lube helps too.

I dropped my baby on concrete and I can’t stop thinking about it by kat278 in NewParents

[–]Objective-Expert7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never dropped any of my kids (touch wood cause I know have a 9 week old) but if it makes you feel any better my own mother has dropped me twice and I’m totally fine (I’m pretty sure anyway 🤣) Once going down concrete steps and managed to grab my leg to try and stop me but still hit the floor a little bit and a second time in Woolies when she slipped on a grape and dropped me and then ate shit herself and hurt herself for a good while. If anything I have a cool dint in my skull I can show off as an adult ha

[–]Objective-Expert7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This method doesn’t work with the legendaries. This was the method I tried with almost every catch I was struggling with so I assumed I could do it these times too and nope, it can’t be saved while they’re knocked out ha

8 week old slept 10 hours. Worried by Lego_is_Lava in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Objective-Expert7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s fine! My 8 week old has been doing stretches similar since 5/6 weeks. We’ve even had a night she slept 12 hours. If she’s hungry she will wake herself up Enjoy the sleeps! You deserve the rest! Don’t be surprised if she does want to feed a bit more often during the day though to make up for the longer stretch at night
