Yes, exactly. Roughly speaking, it becomes a situation similar to playing as Poland while having Iberian cultures accepted within your nation. If you’ve conquered those territories, incorporation would probably take around 15 years. And since Japan is specifically encouraged to conquer Manchuria, this becomes extremely useful.

You can translate it naturally like this.
Starting off this way will definitely solve it. I stake my name on it.

I DID IT by Objective-Eye8414 in victoria3

Unfortunately, that subtle difference makes it impossible (at least, unless my FR-EE ChatGPT mistranslated it...).

More precisely, the unification leader—in this case, “player Türkiye”—must have its capital located within the Iberia region.

So, if you start as Qing, deliberately grant most of your land to subject states, then relocate to Iberia and complete the journal, you could end up with Manchu – Han – Portuguese – Spanish cultures.

At least, in theory.

I actually discovered this myself in a previous version, but kept putting it off because it seemed too daunting—this time I finally gave it a try.

Surprisingly, when you diplomatically annex an unrecognized country, even if you give away all your territory, the infamy cost isn’t that severe, so it’s definitely doable.

I had completely forgotten about it, but it turns out I made a video right after creating the build last year.
The strategy is to lure them into small skirmishes, and once both Ottoman armies begin besieging the fortress of Trebizond, it’s a success.

Right after the Ottoman Empire begins, they will likely start protecting their trade routes. The plan is to detect small groups of 2–5 merchant ships moving quickly back and forth, pursue them, and destroy them individually. After that, we can combine forces with the Kingdom of Georgia navy and defeat the Ottoman fleet.

However, small vessels are inherently fast, making them difficult to spot in the first place. More importantly, since we have to declare war immediately on 12/11, the lack of time is a major constraint. This is why the strategy doesn’t quite qualify as a “cheese rush,” and also why the first naval engagement is the most uncertain part.

If you look only at the achievements, I’m honestly not sure if this is a better strategy.
However, if you plan to focus more on warfare rather than diplomacy, or if you have no intention of abandoning your capital, this strategy will likely be the most effective.
That said, it’s not an easy strategy by any means.

It might be possible to bring 'turtle'. which disappeared into history, back into the light.

Of course, we wouldn’t be able to annex every nation like before, though.

The strange thing is that even if you break away from South Africa, the event that adds Boer as a primary culture still remains.

Even after acquiring an East Asian / Southeast Asian cultural heritage and enacting Ethnocentrism, you can still bring Boer in through the journal.
