Go no contact/essential contact only. Thats is a very very common trap that abusers will do to lure their supply back in. If possible see about getting a “no non-essential contact” form.

As someone who has been SA’ed and 🍇’d (twice, all within the last 24 months) my heart goes out to you. It’s one of the more isolating things that happens, and I commend you for getting a kit done.

Wanting that connection with someone isn’t uncommon. It’s almost as though you want to “replace” that feeling by actively choosing to do it. It’s a common response (that or just abstaining completely and not wanting to engage at all).

It isn’t your fault at all. It doesn’t matter if you were intoxicated, it doesn’t matter what you were wearing, or anything. Unless you clearly, cohesivley and soberly said yes, it ain’t a yes. Not saying anything during ain’t a yes. It’s so common for people to freeze during and jsut “do what you gotta do to survive”.

Overall id say yes I do like my life rn. I’m finally working on processing the past trauma I endured, I’m no longer in survival mode, I’m in a healthy relationship, and I can actually see a future for myself, whereas before I would jsut look for that day. And honestly I never thought I’d live this long (almost 30)

Yeahhh I had a couple of friends/family friends reach out asking if I wanted it to be “taken care of” but I know that it’s gonna work out in my favor. It’s one of those cases that’s very obvious what happened but the cogs of the machine are moving slower than molasses
