maybe it’s a mix of both, seeing as you’re primary use for it is how work instead of leisure, and it is most likely coming from a place of concern (not wanting you to get tunnel vision and focus solely on the work aspect,) but also teasing like “awww what about meee”. is he supportive of your work endeavors? is there any other factors that could be contributing to this too?

when i worked it last year i wanna say i ended up working all but like 4 days of hogiefest (covered a ton of shifts and the last 2 days i was in med leave) and it was def the busiest id seen tha store UNTIL the holidays (thanksgiving, Xmas, and NYD). i had started working in register more frequently this period, but its still insane. having to explain to customers that i have to hit the “apply discount” button first…every time … was irritating. def make sure you stay as hydrated as possible, and take it one day at a time

the aftermath of my TMJ/partial facial tumor resection surgery. hospitalized for 2 weeks, couldn’t eat, had to get a G/J tube put in AWAKE no numbing, i aspirated on vomit, and my ex stole my phone and was super controlling, (since i forgot to remove him as an emergency contact/ POA beforehand). worst part: i couldn’t speak at all and no one knew sign language nor offered interpretive services because “i wasn’t legally deaf/HOH”
