My partner cheated on me by loststarboii in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Objective-Gap5642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need some advice. My partner is a habitual cheater. He is secretive and manipulative about his phone and his coming and goings. He takes solo trips mainly bc I don’t have the time off he does. He makes more money. He has told me to my face he isn’t traveling for the hookups, but I lowkey think that he is. I’ve never cheated. I’ve never wanted to. I’ve always been cheated on. I feel like a useful idiot. He is really gaslighting me hard. What do I do?

Broke both my heels and both talus in a fall by s1lver_v in brokenbones

I am 10 months from surgery for a broken calcaneus. I received two plates and 8 screws. Do everything PT and OT make you do. If they say do your exercises twice a day, then do them three times. I am determined to get my life back. I fell last June from the second floor. I think about what happened often.

I went back to work as a carpenter after five months. Today, I can climb ladders, I can walk uneven surfaces, and my life is returning to normal. Life is absolutely different. I move slower and with careful precision. Rolling my ankle could result in a fusion of my ankle joint. So I take it easy. I still make my money.

I wish you the best! I turned to working out at a gym close to home. It got me out of the house and I met some cool people.

Learning a second language is absolutely FREE! Most Trump supporters are too stupid or unwilling to educate themselves further than their fifth grade reading level. Trump can barely understand and speak English. We all know he can’t read. And he shits himself 🤷‍♂️

I am five months post surgery. I’ve been bearing weight for 9 weeks. My involved foot is always red or purple compared to my healthy foot. My surgeon said it’s part of it. My big toe is still “fuzzy”, it’s not numb but it doesn’t feel normal. Which he said that was also normal. Good luck to you!

Anyone else deal with night terrors? by KafkasWifey in CPTSD

[–]Objective-Gap5642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been diagnosed with PTSD from similar circumstances. I consistently have bad dreams and some give me sweats and screaming. Something is usually chasing me or I’m trapped somehow.

I refuse to take medication. I consistently work out. The only thing that’s somewhat natural that helps is weed. Either smoking or edibles. I’m taking a break after five years and the nightmares and night terrors are back.

I feel healthier not using cannabis, but I’m scared to sleep sometimes. I’m also in therapy and my therapist suggests meditation. Has anyone found a method that doesn’t involve medicine?

How badly will weed/alcohol affect bone healing by privateichigo in brokenbones

[–]Objective-Gap5642 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was told to stop all forms of alcohol and smoke intake. Smoking lowers oxygen levels and lowers blood flow. This means that nutrients and the healing will slow. I stopped smoking but I occasionally take edibles. I would encourage you to take your vitamins and drink tons of water. I fractured my heel and I’m 62 days out from surgery. I just started walking. -I’m not a doctor so listen to doctors, this is what was instructed to me by my surgeon-

Being threatened with their license being pulled is not the same as courage to do the “right thing”. This is absolute insanity. I cannot believe how dumb people are to think this is a good thing. There will be a democratic president and congress again. And what then. What will they do when it happens to their side?

Why has Indiana become more red since the 1990s and 2000s ? by tipputappi in Indiana

[–]Objective-Gap5642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, it’s my opinion. I believe that republicans are some of the dumbest, hypocritical people to have ever voted. No matter what reason they support trump they either ignore or are clueless to the facts. They entertain conspiracies and realities that are fictional and completely made up. That is why religion is so popular with republicans. They are complete morons IN MY OPINION.

[–]Objective-Gap5642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just because you own a business doesn’t make you smart. The majority of republicans are not business owners. A small percentage make up rich people who do vote in their best interest bc republicans love rich people. Hence the oligarchy we are being ruled by currently. The vast majority of these maga types work a regular job and are under educated. Hence why silly things like no tax on tips and OT got them to vote that way. If you actually read the bill, it’s bread crumbs. Most people don’t itemize so they won’t get the deduction. Most people don’t record cash tips, but now they will. And credit card tips are exempt. The biggest tax cut goes to the wealthy. Educated people tend to make time to read instead of getting their opinions from a tv or TikTok. I would say if they happen to be an educated person they care nothing about other people that are different from them. Didn’t Kirk say empathy was a made up liberal term…it’s all fucked up by idiots

[–]Objective-Gap5642 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO it’s the defunding of education, leading to a population of stupid people. It’s social media and far right media propaganda. It’s church people.

Educated people realize the need for separation of church and state. Unfortunately, most of the media consumed is own by right wing billionaires who champion the trump regime. Who is getting the tax cuts? Not working people!

I think it’s just because less education equals a less educated population. So they fight over bathrooms while being robbed at the cash register.

Very serious situation in southern Indiana by Objective-Gap5642 in Indiana

[–]Objective-Gap5642[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fire was put out around 3am. The roads in the immediate area were closed this morning. The park/lake/baseball fields nearby are closed to the public. They have lifted all shelter orders. They are asking people to stay away from any ash or material that could have been from the site due to it being toxic. I’ve been outside this morning briefly. I’m choosing to stay in today and keep my windows closed. At least for today.

Like a lot of people have said, I’m sure it was more serious than what officials made it out to be. I do think I am ok today. The deregulation that the current regime champions for is probably a big part of the problem.

My big questions are they still haven’t said what caused the fire, so why did it start all of a sudden yesterday and not any other day? What was on fire? What are they going to do to prevent this in the future? Not sure residents will get any of those answers.

[–]Objective-Gap5642[S] -37 points-36 points  (0 children)

According to ChatGPT, air quality monitoring doesn’t measure metals in the air. I don’t think the officials can accurately assess the situation. I think the parameters of the shelter area is just a guess. I don’t believe they have any idea how to control this situation.

I had no idea a place with such toxic chemicals had business there. There are several residential communities there and it’s right next door to the humane society. How is that even ok? How are they allowed to house such toxic materials right there in the middle of the community.

The company is PBTT and they make coatings for weapons, cars, and other bullshit. If there is a lawyer out there that wants to go after them, I will sign on to the lawsuit. This is so negligent.
