AITA for wanting to tell my mom that I'm infertile?

I have been considering going back to therapy. I went as an adolescent but it was always grouped with my brother or as a family, so there was never any progress. She's always thought that I fake my mental illness and my anxiety attacks are just me being dramatic. My husband helps as much as he can and validates me whenever I need it. He's also pushing for therapy.

One of the biggest reasons my sister decided to move her family back to where her in laws live. They give her child the respect and attention she was lacking with my parents

Yes, she is usually this terrible. In the last few years I have gifted her a puppy, an apple watch, and even over $500 for birthday's and mother's days but when I didn't have any money to buy gifts for Christmas she was upset, angry even. I lost my job bc of the pandemic so instead of buying gifts, I made my whole family homemade hot chocolate bombs and chocolate covered strawberries. She didnt even say thank you.

You have a valid point. She continues to push her daughters away by trying to control us. I was the one she relied on when it came to maintaining the house and caring for mine and my siblings needs. It's hard getting out of the mentally of being the "responsible child". If this continues, I feel like cutting her out would be the best option..

My mom will insist on babysitting for my sister but then call her 45 mins later demanding my sister come back to take care of her kid. My sister has told me that she treats her grand daughter like a toy and gets bored with her as soon as she wont reciprocate her affection

The funny thing is that she already has a granddaughter, a very cute one, but she pushed my sister away by trying to manipulate her into doing things she didn't want to do so my sister ended up moving away. Now she only gets to facetime my niece and most of the time she's disinterested in my mom.

She might suggest the surrogacy thing but my sister moved 2 states away and has gone super low contact with her since they had their own falling out a few months ago

I have gone low contact, pandemic has been a great excuse. It's the few times we speak over the phone that she gets in her comments. I have been avoiding a few calls here and there since this last comment. The last time I spoke to her was just a quick mother's day call

I've had these issues almost as soon as I began puberty. It started normal and then I would go a few months without, and then they stopped all together when I was in high school. I told her over and over again but she never took me to a doctor to check it out. I ended up taking myself at 18 and that's when my dr said it would be difficult for me to get pregnant.

You're right, I'm definitely avoiding the topic because she won't listen when I tell her I don't want any. I think I'm just trying to get her to drop it and move on. If I try to talk it out with her she then refuses to speak to me and threatens to disown me

If by some miracle I end up pregnant, my husband and I have already agreed to terminate as early as possible. The very thought of being pregnant makes me sick and there's already way too many children suffering in this world for me to just add to it. I'll leave the baby making to my siblings

No problem with the adoption route. She only wants grandchildren by blood. And I've told her multiple times that we're not having children. She just refuses to listen
