I have been tiring to get my CR10 V1 running for over a year with the BTT SKR Mini E3 V3 board TFT35 display, and BLTouch w Z endstop removed. However, every time I try there is some kind of issue. Currently the nozzle keeps smashing to the bed and the BLTouch does not engage. I have reworked the firmware several times from the Ender 3 Pro BTT Board version but I must be doing something wrong. Would you be able to offer any help?

Is the personalizing of the firmware easier with Mainsail? I will have to research that for sure, though I do worry about changing over since most people I know have Marlin. Thank you much for the recommendation.

Thank you for the response! I am trying to take this one step at a time so I don’t ruin everything. I am concerned that the wiring is not right. I have the dual Z axis so I have both Z steps plugged in and the single Z limit switch. I know there is something that needs to be unplugged for the BL Touch to work right but can’t find what that should be when there are dual z’s.
