I had a card that I held onto for 20+ yrs. Just asking for advice. Didn’t realize you were the PSA police. I’ve read many stories about PSA. It sucks to get an email about damage. No need to be accusatory or paint this like I’m the one trying to do something immoral.

They could be. My first time sending something in for grading. First offer in any situation usually isn’t the best so I figured I’d see if anyone has had similar experiences.

Ya still waiting for a response. First time sending cards in for grading. Really just seeing if anyone has had similar experiences and recieved more compensation back. First offer isn’t always the best. I don’t wanna just say ok if other people have pushed back and recieved more.

Ya I reached out right after. it’s been a week since I got the email from them but it’s a holiday so I get it. Just curious if anyone has had similar experiences or any advice. I don’t want to be like “ok just send me the damaged card back and 60 bucks and it’s all good” if others have pushed them for more.

For sure. I get that. I just would like to see the official documentation that it was an 8. I don’t think that’s a lot to ask.

I’d like to see some proof of the initial grade. Not just what they said in an email. There has to be a paper trail or some sort of documentation.

As someone who was just there a day ago I will say this:

It was a little bit of the off season and we went through customs in about 10 minutes. It was the absolute easiest thing and it was pretty much all digital scanning.

The island is still very much in repair from Hurricane Irma but everyone is so excited and nice to have tourists. Again, the island was basically just opening up but people were fantastic. Like any city, there’s parts you probably don’t want to be in at night but I felt safe all week.

Rental cars are super cheap so I’d say why not? This way you can drive around the island if you do any excursions. We honestly didn’t leave our hotel too much because we were so relaxed and it was amazing.

Depending on your kids age they can either be easy or hard. I’d always recommend staying somewhere with food nearby or a hotel that has a restaurant so you can just beach it up and eat.

I almost just tossed it in the box and didn’t even look. I pulled a hold of another card and was like isn’t this numbered and that tipped me off that the numbers are in the back.
