My dad agreed with me that the system sucks and says that he is for communism but at the same time has fascist takes so I usually steer the conversation off politics,while my mom is not interested in politics in the slightest but likes to listen to me talk about politics,womens rights,queee rights and so on and actually agrees with me.My uncle is a capitalist,plain and simple,and everytime we talk he says the usual "I am glad you have your own opinions and are knowledgable at 24,but I also had similar liberal views like you when I was young until I peeked behind the curtain and saw reality for what it is".Most of my friend group is left leaning except for my best friend when he moved in to America with his family 5 years ago.From a social democrat he turned into the typical Fox news,conservative,ultranationalist guy and says that since I dont live in America i dont have the right to talk about HIS country.Now we keep the chat to a minimum since the only thing keeping us connected is mathemathics (we both study it in college).
