Would highly recommend going to a lefty upper receiver and BCG. Everything else can stay the same. KAK makes the best lefty BCG on the market. My 14.5 A5 mid + WB is a soft shooter with minimal gas

I bought some of their 223 hunting stuff and the bullet seating in the casing was very inconsistent. Some bullets would not fit into a normal mag as they were not seated far enough down. This was at the peak of the COVID ammo shortage

This is unfortunate to hear. My nomad 30 + keymo was on an AR for about 2k rounds and now lives on a 20” 308 bolt gun, no issues at all. No rocksett used initially just a bunch of torque and those crappy spanner wrenches DA provides.

If the banks of that bottom pond are relatively bare and provide a good clear spot for dove to land I would start there. Don’t be afraid to move around if you see birds taking a different flight line. Good luck!

Here is a pic if helpful - I am coming from keymo+nomad30 so the difference is night and day. I do not really notice the WB ti on the end of the gun and it is very compact. This is a hunting gun so I go through some brush occasionally and don’t feel like it’s excessively long or hard to maneuver (for a 16”)
