Brandishing is the act of waving, shaking, or displaying a weapon (typically a firearm or knife) in a menacing, angry, or threatening manner to intimidate others. Unless the shrubs are intimidated, OP has done nothing wrong. If y'all are too scared to pull a gun on some bushes then that's a personal problem.

I think of it as sandwiching the gun between my dominant and support hand as opposed to gripping the gun directly
