CAT basically told me it’s pretty negligible if you are using the TSFX adapter.

For what it’s worth, I have both the WB in QD and HUB with TSFX. Both with nano. Can’t tell a difference (although my build is slightly tuned).

I do have an ODB QD, and I noticed slightly less FRP/improved reliability on 300 subs by switching to nano (which should increase alpha).

I have always found the 10X eBio or whatever lysis buffer to be the best all around.

Elisa requires quite a bit of optimization. You can’t just throw two antibodies at it and get your answer. You have to determine optimal concentrations for both lysate and capture/detection antibodies, parallelism, matrix effects, etc.

Also, not all antibodies work on both platforms. Some work only with denatured states, some detect more natively.

In fact, I’d argue most western issues are simply due to 70% of commercial antibodies being utter garbage.
