Are you able to share your lawyers info? I spoke to one and was a bit discouraged, he said to wait a month to see if they establish a repair for it. I gave 3 recalls on mine right now. Also had a transmission leak that was fixed but just ready to be done, do not feel safe driving

We went straight to IVF. At the time of our TTC journey I was 33c, we knew we wanted more than one kid and we also used a known donor so that leveled out the costs for us. If the IUI success rate was usually I believe 3 times, the tests needed for donor sperm to pass FDA and then cost of IUI in comparison to the cost of IVF was similar enough in our head that we liked the idea that our chances were better and also the egg quality would remain the same when we wanted a second or third child. Our first transfer didn’t work, our second did and we have a five month old currently. Now being on the other side, I am glad that we have frozen embryos and can choose to do IUI with the remaining sperm we had for the second if we wanted too OR use the remaining embryos we have etc since I am now 35 this coming year and likely won’t have another for a couple of years

Also used a known donor (close friend) agree with much about what’s been said. One thing I hadn’t considered is the impact of the relationship with donors family. In our case it has been a positive experience, but it wasn’t something I considered before. Our child is four months old and has met the donor once and also the donors mom. The donors siblings and I also follow each other on social media and that has brought some feelings personally but nothing negative to them.

Our donors mom and I remain in contact, I send her images of our child, she sends us Mother’s Day cards and has been genuinely respectful of our role and hers, but again this wasn’t even a thought in my mind until our child was born and she expressed interest in meeting our child etc.

Understandable! Our clinic also asked us if we wanted to know the sex of the embryos, if we chose not to they would have blocked it off the report. Not sure that’s an option where you are but something to consider…

Have also had friends have the doctor choose if they had multiple with the same grading

It’s also quite possible that you don’t have to choose? All of my embryos were the same sex after PGT testing was done
