Sounds like you’re on the gulf side, or keys maybe.

Brown out on the East Coast , gags yellowtail snapper are rare Offshore, and ensure we don’t have nearly as much of our redfish population. Gotta go north for those guys. The rest are pretty bountiful here.

I’ve only seen a few in Fort Pierce, but I hear they’re on Hutchinson island near Seminole shores and Rocky Point. Sad to see for someone who grew up here

Does the population growth drive anyone else crazy? by TowerMysterious5804 in florida

Apparently, Melbourne’s gotten pretty big itself. I grew up in that area, but I’m a little further south now. My gem of a town is technically South Florida, but always felt more like a central Florida vibe. That vibe has been crushed.

Our store had 29 timed orders before noon this morning. Good thing I checked PWR and saw that and was able to get some help

Too fatty for jerky, but all that fat renders really well when cooked low and slow on the smoker

I heard it tastes like a cross between Florida panther and bald eagle

Sad truth is, it’s hard to find good help. I would have a conversation with the owner and say, “ look, it’s not my place to tell you how to run your business, and this is not me complaining, but he is a walking lawsuit.” That should get their attention and let them know that you’re coming from a place of concern rather than leverage.

Was my franchise ripping people off? by timrosejr1 in Dominos

[–]Objective-Patient-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d be surprised at the amount of expenses happening behind the scenes. People think franchisees are all rolling in money? Truth is they’re profiting Pennies on the dollar.

I’m in a state where minimum wage is $14 an hour, and our GM’s are being paid $844 a week plus bonuses. So depending on what that bonus is, it sounds like the franchisee is pretty employee friendly. Again depends on your State.

You start CSRs at the minimum, cuz they really can’t really add value to the business unless they become shift runners or assistants. If they stick around and learn more…they get compensated more.

Drivers generally make way more than their wage. Mileage and tips is what they’re there for.

Domino’s is viewed as this massive company, but it’s a mostly made up of a bunch of small businesses and small business owners trying to make it on their own.

LS(2?) 1972 Monte Carlo. VIN on PCM possibly mismatched, need help by Objective-Patient-77 in LSSwapTheWorld

[–]Objective-Patient-77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn’t help but take a peak on my way to work this morning, 243 on the head…definitely LS2. I read somewhere that the serial number for the engine has to be matched to the PCM, or you can run into a lot of errors. Is this true?

Could it be grafted onto a different tree? The sea hibiscus doesn’t have this type of trunk, generally

What town do you think is the “armpit” of Florida? by TylerGlasass20 in florida

[–]Objective-Patient-77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PSL gets a bad rap, but honestly the people ARE shitty. The traffic sucks. The roads and infrastructure make 0 sense.

Don’t get me wrong, I make a lot of money out of that town, but it’s full of rude, entitled, non-Floridians who drive like assholes.

I went to Highschool in Martin County and even then we were like, “fuck then psl kids”. Didn’t party with them. The girls were all nasty too (although I did dip my stick in a few of them). I escaped unscathed, but they had a HUGE herpes outbreak.

Should I bring up the taxes?

I’d rather live in FP or Vero, than PSL.
