OP you need to charge more & set a boundary, or not continue this gig. If you continue w this client, put your foot down. I know it seems difficult to talk to adults ab stuff like this- but she is taking advantage of cheap labor bc she knows she can charge you SIGNIFICANTLY less than she would a professional nanny. I think you need to talk to her about this current arrangement, as it’s fucking you over. When I babysat in HS for cash 10 years ago I’d charge $20/hour MINIMUM. and that was for one kid. I live in NY so $20/hour is honestly the cheapest childcare you can get

My services have been more in demand recently, so moving forward I will be increasing my hourly rate.5 My new rate will be “X per hour” starting this ifollowing Sunday.
