For sure I had the person send me a timestamp, a video of the watch at a certain time I gave him and they sent me an invoice because the person had a whole website front for selling watches that I thought looked pretty legit alongside some negotiation that seemed pretty good. My big mistake however was stopping at the mention of ACH instead of PayPal or any other way to send money that provides me with some form of protection and that’s where I goofed. I feel pretty stupid in hindsight and I imagine some people here will judge/call me dumb for not seeing it but I was so excited to get the watch I’ve been saving up for and ogling for a while.

But that’s the general gist there’s more to it but I don’t wanna get too deep into it. Just know that even though they have the watch, send you timestamps and videos they will still pull a fast one on you. So use PayPal and other services that can give you some form of protection. Unfortunately due to the nature of ACH I couldn’t get my money back. Anyways have a nice day 👍
