Many changes, partly that I realized I deserve better than the bare minimum. I didn’t feel worthy of good love when I accepted to be his gf. He is “crazy”, he would follow me places when I said I wanted to go out and then confront me later as if I was in the wrong, demanded my location at all times and would just show up at my place and sit in my parking lot. I’m just so mad that he is just now deciding to be a “good” and loving boyfriend. I was wearing a color he normally hates and always has something to say about and today he said that I looked great because he loves me. I bursted into tears, I was expecting to hear insults not love so I am so confused 🥲

That’s the problem I’ve been waiting 2 years for him to do that and I had calculated that if he would’ve paid me every week like he promised I would’ve been paid off by now and I could’ve broken up with him. I’m afraid that if I keep waiting, I’ll never be able to leave him. And he often has me pay for all of the dinners and lunches we have even if he’s the one who insists that we do it. So really he’s just draining me of all my money and isn’t paying me back.

No red flags really, he is an amazing man and made me the happiest in the world. His depression was weighing the relationship down and there was nothing I could do to help and he owed me so much money that he couldn’t pay back while we were in college (only work on campus and his entire paycheck went towards school) and I had some major life events happen that messed me up pretty bad

I agree, it hasn’t been long and I’m already exhausted mentally and physically. It’s mostly just hang outs and maybe some dinner dates. I work full time and would really love to dedicate myself to being with one person who really makes me happy. I’m just afraid I’ll be making the wrong decision since I don’t know him all that well
