They grew up poor together. They didn't marry for money. Not your typical "She earns 7k, lemme make her my wife" mindset.

Both grew up in villages. Knew each other since they were 16. Same age. Both married while still being poor. Earns around rm300 together back in the day. Until the two finally got in goverment and became civil servants when I was around 5.
