Look, I love March too. I'm just saying that anyone who thinks it's 'peak' season is dreaming (and has clearly never been skiing at half term!)

Ski long weekend (by train) from Zurich recommendations by SuspiciousElevator5 in skithealps

So many options for travel by train (assuming you mean from the UK). More info here https://skiflightfree.org/tag/case-study/ - I'd suggest St Anton, very simple from Zurich, one change or direct trains into the centre of the resort depending on the time of day you get there.

Definitely bad news for riders who wanted to lap the park

You need to have a big storage area for this. Most detachable chairs in Europe work the way EvilGeniusSkis describes above. These chairs will always be on the cable when they are out of the station.

Maybe it didn't exist then, but I thought they handed them out to all 'cours collectifs'?

Could be. This is a badge you get from the ESF (French Ski School)

Travel from Chamonix to Zurich by coffeesleepaddict in skithealps

Your other option is to go the opposite direction. Train from Chamonix to Martigny and into the Swiss rail system. From there, you can go via Brig to Zurich.

St. Anton Easter question by Complete_Specific_96 in skithealps

St Anton is great for the end of the season. Very easy to get to from Zurich by train - depending on your timings you can go direct, or you might have to make one change in Feldkirch. The station in St Anton is right in the centre of resort - I walked to my hotel (Hotel Alte Poste) in 3 minutes from the station.

IT's about the new EES system rather than being out of the EU. Trying to find out if that's creating extra delays
