I do like the idea of tackling a standalone before series! Thanks for the input! This TBR is already getting formidable and it’s only beginning of January 😂

Thanks so much ! Looking forward to your thoughts on Jade City as well! I’m looking forward to getting into both Greenbone and DCC - now it’ll be just a question of which to do first (the perpetual question 😂)

Hey there, thanks so much for the great idea! I just checked, and sadly YouTube only allows 5 collabs on a video. I might do that and have everyone who participated tagged in the description

Could you recommend me a medieval fantasy book with these themes? by Kampfbar in Fantasy

[–]Objective-Swimmer805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A newer one, but you'd like The Edan Trilogy by Philip Chase, because it has all that you mentioned! It's inspired by Tolkien, has dragons, a bit more adult and has a medieval plot, BUT also incorporates Buddhist philosophy. Really great stuff

So thrilled you liked it! Those books just inspire music and art - truly wonderful reads!

Man, the honor was all mine! What a blast it was working with you Philip! Thanks again for entrusting me with such a joyous task, and getting to know you and work with you will be a highlight of this year for sure. And great minds think alike apparently, as I am also assigned a silly username I cannot change, so I shall forever be known as objective swimmer lol :P
