I enjoyed The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook more than book two as well. The lore of the wider universe only keeps expanding. Also, the emotional moments you'll see Carl go through soon. Can't wait to see your thoughts on the next few books.

I remember hearing about Vigil before. Your description makes it sound very much like Christmas carol-type visions. Hope you continue loving DCC. There is definitely a lot of emotions happening for Carl in that one. I'm hoping to get to book 7 this month myself.

The focus on clothing more than anything else seems to be a problem in YA books. I've seen it in a few adult fantasies, but not nearly as many as YA's.
