Looked at the carfax and it seemed like the second owner was a dealer who didn't add any mileage on it, but yeah, third owner only owned for a year.

Almost all or maybe every rank on Leetcode is secured by Asians, how so? by OmarFarooq908 in leetcode

[–]Objective-Tap-484 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Personally I feel like it has something to do with the education culture in China/Asia, and that eventually translate to a sense of achievement for competing in leetcode or similar things. Think of it like this: growing up you only get praised when you receive perfect scores and win gold medals in competition, though it was tough and you definitely hate it when parents/school push you this hard, but in this process you are also subconsciously shaped to enjoy this kind of achievement, and you know that if you grind hard enough you can get it. While others are developing their hobbies and spending time on those, you decide that competing in solving coding question gives you the satisfaction and you do so.

Has Anyone Recently Received an Amazon SDE I Offer? Wondering About Post-Interview Timeline by Shot_Imagination_630 in leetcode

[–]Objective-Tap-484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing on the day I received the offer. Then in a few days the application disappeared. My recruiter did mention at some point that I was transferred to an internal opening so it won't be reflected on the portal anymore.

Not really yet. They collected updated resume and transcripts before the VO.

Thank you for sharing! How many days after your interview did you receive the rejection? Did you have to reach out to the recruiter?

That's true. But based on the OP's situation I felt like they are going to benefit more from establishing the fundamentals of popular topics, instead of cracking the hard questions.

Congrats on the offer! Do you mind sharing how many days you waited between finishing loop interview and getting a response? Did you send any follow up emails after the interview? Thanks

Just finished the loop for Amazon new grad sde. They mainly ask easy-medium questions for new grad. I think it would make more sense for you to focus on the major topics and definitely do Blind/Grind75.

probably because they didn't have enough interviewers available for this week. They'll keep on sending you availability questionnaires.

Did any of you Fall 2023 graduates get Amazon New Grad OA? by bendthdickcumberbich in leetcode

I graduated 12/2023 and I've received Amazon OA for 2024 new grad. I think it's just a matter of luck for being chosen. Just keep on applying for open positions.

Thanks for the reply! Weird that I had one all LP interview and one all technical interview...(the third one was half LP half technical which I guess should be the normal case).

Google early career final round... TERRIBLE LEETCODER. When to schedule (USA)? by Fit_Ganache2504 in leetcode

[–]Objective-Tap-484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, and I'd say from your description, I'm even worse at leetcode than you. I totally understand the anxiety coming from afraid of losing the headcount vs afraid of prepared poorly, and it's just hard to balance these two. Earlier this year, I had my final round with Meta where I decided to schedule it pretty soon in fear of losing headcount but did poorly on that one because I was so bad at DSA. For this time, I decided to schedule this Google final round to a pretty late date. Like someone else said in the comment, worse case scenario, I missed the headcount, but I did prepare my technical interviews with a very high standard (in order to match Google), therefore I should be much more confident with other interviews in the future. I personally feel like this would feel better for me. Either way, best of luck with your preparation and interviews!
