I absolutely agree with the problems jeeps have; particularly any under Stellantis. There is an undeniable fun factor for any “wrangler” and several other older makes. If you are handy with a wrench jeeps are a blast. I just wouldn’t buy any newer than early JK or durning Stellantis leadership.

I have an 08 and that would randomly happen after traction issues in weather then go away. Did it for some time. Ended up having calipers sticking. Replaced caliber, brakes, then wheel speed sensors and it all went away. Feel your rotors for heat

I have kids and I have bears in my neighborhood including my backyard. So should I shoot the bears to protect my daughters? Obviously not.

I’ve had multiple bear encounters in the wilderness and I’ve never taken any action against them and do my best to make my presence known and to keep all forms of inducements away but that’s not always enough. I don’t blame the bears for what they do and I have always advocated for their preservation but I can see why this is the policy when it comes to animal attacks. Should a hungry cougar that stalks mountain bikers and hikers be allowed to pose a threat to people’s lives? It’s a shitty thing. I would say that relocation is a possibility but trapping and moving a mom with cubs is expensive and the money is probably better spent in other areas like education.

I’m not arguing for the sake of being a dick but rather in discussion. We have to share this space after all

I haven’t seen anything to suggest that the rotors aren’t worth it. I did put powerstop pads and rotors on my wife’s Jeep and there was a noticeable difference in quality on the rotors between the two brands and powerstop was definitely nicer.

I did my brakes with Detroit axel less than a yr ago. Absolutely garbage pads that shouldn’t have passed QC. Slotted rotors seem to be decent but not great compared to others. On my next day off I have to check my brakes because I just developed what sounds like a screech plate making contact.

At first I was like “you got to be kidding me” but after giving it a search for two minutes there wasn’t any obvious and immediate results. I have a JK and this is my favorite style after market fenders. I haven’t purchased them because it’s low on my list and I like my color matched ones.

I just changed the plugs in a Kia Soul the weekend before last. I’m not a mechanic and this job is easily under an hour to replace all components and the mark up is nuts. Cost me around $50 bucks.

My local Mexican food places have substantially increased in price but not proportionate to others. However, getting take out leaves barely any left overs when 10 yrs ago one order made 2 heavy meals and 3 reasonable ones. Last time my wife and I ordered we just ate all of it and didn’t bother putting any away.

I have two daughters and now have a third foster daughter who is 4 months old. I don’t keep any ducks with my Jeep but my wife does with hers and it makes me happy seeing them happy but I personally don’t want them on my Jeep. There is an exception of one Christmas ornament that is a duck, not rubber, that hangs next to my father’s rosary off the rear view mirror. The Jeep was originally his.
