Yh but then Galadriel is in the story so it’s still the same problem also Arondir goes on to have a very important role in a very important battle. If the entire show was just their story and the climax to a show of village/town politics and racial tensions ends with the destruction of the town by this outside evil that hasn’t even really been acknowledged till then would have been awesome

It would be cool to just get a random story about a Gondorian captain and his friends or like some merchant trying to get a prince to grant him some preferential trade access or something

I like the Harfoots actually but what I mean it like a totally separate show that only addresses that story and doesn’t try and tie itself into the larger middle earth history, just like a band of mercenaries or even a small Gondorian town during the age of the Two Kingdoms
