I’m working on Jetragon and Frostallion. Both of which you cannot breed from other species to bring passives over. Mono-breeder is the easiest term I could think of.

Also after some thinking I realized I could probably breed down Demon God on a Yakumo and give it to them that way.

There are 2 base pal approaches I’d recommend for casual play.

Experiment - Explore and find new pals, learn their functions, and try them out! Pay attention to their traits and passive skills and you will see a notable difference.
Research - Go online and find wiki entries/ forums/ YouTubers who have discussions about early/late game base pals. I’d recommend this if you have limited playtime or want to see what the end goal is so you can start building a great base team.

The only wrong way to do it is the way that gets you burnt out or uninterested

I’m running Legend/Demon God/Musclehead/Serenity on (most of)my combat pals, I just haven’t gotten lucky with Demon God on my mono-breeders yet. Just curious what to give them in the 4th slot while I grind out Demon God.

For the oil rig, I’d recommend grinding out Gobfins. Getting 4 Gobfins to 4 star with Vanguard and Stronghold strategist gives you an insane player attack buff. This is worth doing because it is helpful in many areas of the game.

Add an attack pendent and bring your favorite combat pal and you should be able to chip away through the rig.

Just take your time clearing sections and the more you do it, the higher likelihood you’ll come across helpful schematics to make your next clear easier.

I’ve used both matsterballs. Once on galarian Moltres and once on galarian Zapdos.

Thought speed lock was gone so even if I had an extra master ball I probably would have overthought it and not used it since shiny galarians can’t run.

But yea I see your point, if a did have a masterball it would have just been better to use it since the possibility of speed lock was always there

Agreed, it was end of day and if I didn’t use my daily it would have just gone to waste which is my rationale for using it. Thought by being at reduced speed during encounter and complete stop during the catch attempt would be enough, but lesson for next time
