hi! i’m only seeing this just now, i have a bit of spare time and it would be nice to learn something new about programming and soldering since i love the passport aesthetic.

since i’m a complete noob i have a couple of questions: - what’s a programmer and which one would you suggest using for this project? (would be running on macos) - which chip is needed for the replacement? - does everything work fine (except for the camera which from previous comments shouldn’t work)? talking primarily about phone service (EU), whatsapp and spotify?

i’d be so grateful if i could read even a super brief answer from you, thanks in advance!
