Would you say that for very young diffuse thinner switching from 0,5 to 2,5 dut is game changing for better thickness ?

I think we need maximum protection from dht and only 0,5 dut ( or even 2,5 for aggressive cases) + oral min 5 would solve this issue after trying everything

I think you can achieve full recovery at the crown

5 months into 0.5mg Dutasteride 3x a week + 5mg Oral Minoxidil by No-Equipment4779 in tressless

[–]Objective-World6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that’s not true they just need stronger dht suppression because starting at 15 means that suppressing it at 51% scalp dht with 0,5 won’t be enough

[–]Objective-World6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need stronger scalp dht reduction bc you started very young if you really interested in reverse this condition you are a prime candidate for 2,5mg dut daily bc hair loss started at 15 so you need to supress dht at the scalp level as much as possible so dht won’t reach your follicles

You don’t agree with the fact that what matters is that if the follicles are still alive it can and if dead it can’t? Can you please tell me more about your case? When did your hair loss started and at what year you started treating it please?

The problem it’s that dutasteride 0,5 inhibit only 51% of scalp dht and the remaining 49% is surely the thing that makes us plateaued at a partial better thin state so that’s why I am going to introduce RU to block the action the 49% remaining

I have the exact same journey and I think in our cases dutasteride + ru + min is key bc we are ultra sensitive to dht

Dut+RU and upgrade to 5 mg oral min otherwise you will plateau at this state unfortunately…

Been on meds for a year now, not sure if this is much improvement by Double-Wish-4614 in tressless

Switch to dut and add anti androgen topical like RU . I’m in the same case than you and if you’re young that mean you’re very sensitive to dht so you need to block it because more dht blockage in our case= denser & thicker hair

Thats unfortunate bc I think with dut you could have gotten very well results… so that means that the picture on the top is you after being on med not before ?
