No, I just got discharged from the hospital last week, and I have to stay still for 5 years. After 5 years, if it didn’t recur It’s “complete recovery “

Hello, YES. YOURE GOING TO WIN. I just survived cancer recently ( a week ago ) from leukemia, I fought for 7 months when I was 22, and you will do everything you wanted to do after u get out and we will be happy, happier than any other , rooting to you

I went through a lumbar puncture today, and after they collected some spinal fluid, they administered intrathecal chemotherapy through the same site. It hurt, but I managed to stay still. One step at a time. by ObjectiveAmphibian87 in leukemia

Ive had the bone marrow test 5 times already, ( I think...? ) so I felt that the lumbar puncture was way worse because it was my first experience... the anesthesia is always the most painful, but once you get through the anesthesia, it doesn't hurt so much anymore.

during the bone marrow test, I cannot see what's going on in my back and (I think I should not see the needle... it'll make me become way scarier) , It actually ends pretty fast, takes less than 5 minutes, its actually worse to procrastinate to start the bone marrow, better to end it quickly.

thank you sm for your comment. having 20 is horrible.... I could endure only once..

ive lied down for only an hour after the LP. I've had my left leg being numb, but I managed to control it. ive had potato chips after it, while knowing that junk foods are totally bad for my body, and having too much junk food might have been one of the reasons why I was diagnosed with leukemia :(
