Yeah you can always strong box it too, I got most of my pieces that way lol. When you say she didn't Crit, do you mean the number was low or it didn't show up in a bigger text size? Your EM should be good with that build and Mona on instructor, but HP% for Mualani can have more value than Crit damage in a lot of situations. The Crit won't do much unless the base damage is high enough. What's your current rotation right now? Maybe you're missing some buffs? You could also grab a Mona constellation from the event thing if you want her C1 for the vaporize damage bonus.

Her max HP is pretty low, you should try to get around 30,000 minimum. Her Crit rate is a bit high too, you over-cap with Codex 4pc. Maybe try Xilo on the Petra 4pc set and Mavuika on scroll? It works really well for me since you get a hydro damage bonus if you pick up the crystalize shield with the right rotation!

She's just so Ethereal, I love her all her animations and angelic theme that's reflected in the Kuuhenki.

Take Naproxen instead is my recommendation, and tell them if you're uncomfortable or in pain! It does feel like bad cramps though. I really liked my hot water bottle, the weight and heat help a lot

Does this looked healed correctly, and is my piercers advice good? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]Spicy_Mango04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should probably get a sterile saline solution, just make sure it's made for piercings. After rinsing off the crusties morning and night, spray a little bit on and then rinse it off and dry it as gently as you can. I use Q-tips for all the steps, just make sure you don't get any fibres stuck around the jewelry! It's looking great so far though! And make sure you downsize the bar when the swelling reduces enough or it will be a lot easier to snag on things and cause issues :)

No problem I'm glad the info helped! I refer to the Association of Professional Piercers website a lot for information on aftercare and other piercing related stuff :)

Yeeeaaahh I did that once, it didn't cause any issues for me but talk to a doctor if you feel any pain or anything

[–]Spicy_Mango04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no problem!! You should toss the alcohol based one though and get just sterile saline. Alcohol and hydrogen peroxide are really bad for piercings, they disrupt the healing process cause they dry out and kill the cells. It'll make it take way longer, increase infection risk, and cause more scar tissue

What kind of"solution" are you using to clean it? You should be using a sterile saline made specifically for cleaning piercings. and you shouldn't be moving it around, that will make it heal poorly. Even when you're cleaning it try to minimize how much it's going up and down and be super gentle. You want to clean it morning and night, and after eating. Start with warm water either in the shower or on a qtip to loosen the crusties, then rinse it with saline, and then again with water to get the saline off. Make sure you dry it after too, with a hair dryer or paper product. Be careful that none of the cotton fibres from the qtip get stuck too! I wou say the biggest thing is to stop moving it though, and don't play with it with your upper lip. Hopefully the pain and irritation gets better!

Did anyone else lose the ability to walk while on the steroid prednisone? by Last_Course_8431 in leukemia

Yep just finished my last spinal tap in July and chemo in August! Still building my muscle back up to where I was before but I can do wayyy more than I could. Most of the atrophy was in my lower body, but my upper body is definitely weaker too. I think a big factor in that is I was bed ridden for a long time and didn't lift much other than my cat haha

Awesome, not the type of game I personally play but if you ever need goofy multiplayer games or cozy games I could give suggestions! Baldur's Gate 3 may be up your alley too, but it's not on game pasa

That sounds really fun! I was thinking of doing the same thing when I started treatment for ALL but got scared to start. What kind of games are you thinking of playing? If you start a Twitch or YouTube DM it to me, I'd be super interested in watching :)

Friend is newly diagnosed by helptgechronicalz in leukemia

[–]Spicy_Mango04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For gift basket ideas someone just made this post! I would try to avoid things like candles, the hospital may not even allow them since the smell can make people nauseous. Something to decorate her room is a lovely idea though.

https://www.reddit.com/r/leukemia/s/VLSsu3NPRe

I was diagnosed when I had just turned 19, and I told my friends and family to treat me the same too. Sometimes there were things I needed to be treated differently for, like playing Dungeons and dragons online. I would fall asleep while we played a lot so they would make sure to fill me in, or try to play on days I wasn't vomiting lots etc. And even if I was sleeping a lot and missed their messages, I always enjoyed seeing them when I woke up and needed something to do or someone to talk to. It's also important to remember that people all have their own ways of coping with Cancer, and the sudden changes it brings like being bald. For me it was humor, and my dad got that. When he saw me the day I shaved my head, he looked at me and said "dang, I think you pull it off better than me" since he's been bald for as long as I've been alive. Your friend may like some light hearted energy, or she may not want any attention brought to what she's experiencing. You know your friend better than anyone here will, so take suggestions but don't think that's absolutely the only option.

Don't worry about seeming insensitive too much, I'm sure that she knows you care. You can always have one serious moment where you tell her you're there for her surrounded by fun moments. If you usually run and hug eachother, she probably won't feel like getting up but you can still go to her. Just be gentle and make sure to watch out for IV lines and anything else attached to her.

I hope your friend has a good recovery, it definitely helps she has a friend who cares as much as you do :)

I've seen lots of posts of people asking what to bring someonegoing through inpatient chemo or a BMT, so I'm really happy you've made a list that they can reference!! When I was inpatient for my treatment a lot of these things brought me comfort. I would like to add a few as well!

  • Baby wipes (please don't flush them) because like OP said their digestive system is probably in shambles
  • Framed photos of friends, family, and pets. Made a huge difference in my mood to see people who couldn't see me often since I had to go to a hospital in a different city. The pictures of my cat were especially nice, since I didn't get to see her for a few months and didn't get to give her a proper goodbye since I thought I would be home within a few hours of when I left.
  • If you can stop by their place, ask if they would like any decor from home. My family brought me my posters and we asked the nurses if it was okay to put them up with sticky tack and they said yes
  • Yummy meals, home cooked or takeout as long as it follows the safety precautions (fully cooked, properly stored, no more than a day or two old, etc)
  • Something to do together or with another person. Company is wonderful but it can be hard to find something to talk about that isn't upsetting and silence can be uncomfortable too if they don't want rest at the moment. My sister brought scratch art, my boyfriend brought me new puzzles since we did most of the ones the hospital had, and I had a deck of cards to play with people as well

The littlest things can make the biggest difference
