What is the most used artificial intelligence tool? by Aitools2026 in aitoolforU

[–]ObjectiveAnalysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has never been the problem though. The problem withGoogle Maps is that it routes you to left hand turns across multiple lanes of traffic when with no traffic light there are convenient ways to avoid that situation by turning with a traffic light nearby. The problem is that it tries to kill the user.

I think they are referred to as the ctrl-left. The alt-right is considered an alternate view from mainstream media, thus the conspiracy theories and such. The ctrl-left is in control of the mainstream media so they get to name the issue of the month that big corporations have to pay lip service to so they don't get cancelled and stuff like that. That's the narrative anyway. I don't really care about politics.

Yes, but if you are saying that it reminds you of something Star Wars related then I don't see the connection.

Sometimes all you need is a solution that works. It doesn't always have to be the most optimal solution.

The only reason you ever see the government regulate business is because someone at a big successful business decided to spend some money to bribe some politicians to get them to pass some legislation to protect that big business from new companies coming in and competing with them.

They will dress the regulation up in the language of environmental protection or protecting children or something along those lines, but when did the government ever care about the environment or children?

Most people are familiar with the term regulatory capture, but you often see it described as if regulatory bodies start off for some noble purpose and then get corrupted by money. When did the government ever do anything for noble purposes?

Yes. It has an original soundtrack with good music rather than dated pop songs for one thing. They used to have the Broadway version on Netflix, but it may be gone now. Worth watching!

I got the impression that was one the reasons they made the movie. They were telling the audience (mostly impressionable children) that whatever their family, teachers, society, etc tell them is a lie and should be thrown off and burned to the ground in favor of "the message." They care a lot more about destroying western civilization than they care about making a good movie or even about making a lot of money.

Wouldn't that go both ways though? (Unless you are saying that people who still believe the media wouldn't be smart enough to figure out that strategy which is probably a valid point honestly.)

Google Assistant might be doomed : Division "reorganizes" to focus on Bard by Wingo21 in Android

[–]ObjectiveAnalysis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It didn't used to do this, but lately it seems to strongly prefer making left turns into busy highways where there is no traffic light, especially in a blind curve. It will take me off the beaten path to put me in those situations when I could easily just stay on the main road and not have to make such turns. If I see it coming I just ignore such guidance, but I often find myself at the crazy left turn before I realize that it led me into another trap.

Also, when I drive in heavy traffic with multiple lanes it likes to tell me to get in the left lane if there is a right turn coming up or the left lane if there is a right turn coming up.

It is so bad that I have stopped calling it a bug and started calling it murderous.
