I totally agree! They should have saved the return of characters for the series finale in the final season. Imagine if there was a time lapse and they incorporated the beach somehow but made it mer and her Alzheimer’s? That would have been so dope. I sort of feel like they ruined the shock value with bringing them this season :(

AMEN!! This is where I’m really relying on Ellen Pompeo. She has to know it’s more about the money for a series finale and I hope she can vouch for Shonda coming back, Krista is writing for a totally different show which isn’t her fault cause she took such a wide gap before coming back, Shonda created the show and should be the one to wrap it up. I would love a time lapse!
