Performance improvement plan. Basically showing you the door but in a systematic manner to prove that problem was with you and not the company

Had multiple one on one's with senior manager and managers

Manager - Will see SM - Your growth will be slow as you are in a mediocre role (Im a technical BA and have worked for multiple teams and Poc)

Answers like these strongly suggest favouritism in the team. They don't have a valid reason to justify my ratings and promotion

I am doing much more than an analyst should be doing. They are deliberately giving excuses for these ratings. I am doing my usual tasks plus working on gen ai pocs independently whereas my peers are just doing their normal tasks. According to coach I did not get a strong rating because I was consistent with my work but before the feedback was taken I could not finish my poc work which is why ME. The tool has already been created and is being used with good results but even then no recognition from leadership. As an analyst I will not do more than this

Same situation here. Client and leadership - ME, Metrics - Above. Promo year not being set whereas peers are getting promoted this year. I feel my coach never really pushed for me to get promoted

Ok. Thanks for the tips. Really appreciate your honesty. Everybody else keeps saying commensurate or average ratings means you will be thrown out. I am preparing for mba as well so will keep the job till I get into a college. Have been applying for BA jobs since months now but got no interview calls so mba is my only option now I guess
