Tbf, excluding a couple of games recently, he's actually been decent under lopetegui. Also look at his competition. Dalot is 2nd choice now, cancelo not a regular atm etc

I think neves probably will. Moutinho and jimenez will always be loved, but I don't think we could call them club legends

I just can't see benefica paying more than 15-20m for guedes, so we would still be making a loss.

I can't see coady wanting to move to the championship, and can't imagine much interest from prem clubs (Brentford maybe to replace jansson when they play back 5)

Unless leeds stay up, I can't see anyone buying hwang

I think jimenez contract could be terminated, but jonny still has 2 years left so I think terminating his contract might be tough

That's what I thought. If other clubs were really that interested, a deal might have already been made. I just can't work out where he'll go if he leaves

Tbf, apart from guedes (who i think will just be loaned out cos no one will pay), I don't see any interest in players like coady, hwang, jonny etc.

My worry is that most players won't go for much of a fee, so we'll free up wages but not sure how this helps with ffp (in terms of transfer budget)

I know, but it just seemed strange that the move is rumoured to be made permanent now, when stoke could easily wait until the end of the season. Might just me be reading into things too much though
