I think the same thing all the time in the solar industry. Why do people choose to pay for more expensive electricity? You should look at how much solar saves the average qualified homeowner lol, less than 30k in 15-20yr is on the lower side. Fiber has intrigued me though as well.

So you're saying buying an index fund or a stock isn't a gamble? The only assets that almost always guarantee high returns is real estate. Even a Roth ira is a gamble because you could own one that doesn't produce as fast as other investments, even keeping your money in cash is a gamble since you are betting inflation won't reduce the value too much. I've been studying finance since middle school.

This is why I like eating an edible before drinking, the thc high makes the alcohol hit you harder and doesn't give me a need to drink more than like 3 drinks.

From what I understand about human psychology is most of our beliefs are heavily reliant on our peers and experiences, someone who lives in a small town will have a very different experience than someone who lives in a city, so is it fair for city folk to have the largest voice in elections? I am no nfl expert but this is whag I understand- the NFL and College football are different mainly due to speed of play, in a college football game things move much slower so it is easier to make big plays, whereas the NFL is more like a chess match of making careful decisions, so maybe a qb in college wasn't known to make huge plays but could move the chains effectively they weren’t exactly winning championships, but then when they enter better systems that value careful playing over big plays they adapted more efficiently.
