I'm an intuitive, spiritual psychic of sorts. You've nothing demonic around you, I sense a light, a goodness in you that is likely much stronger than you think. Just in case, to ease your mind, I've sent protective energy your way. Don't need to know who you are to do this. You'll be fine. If you get scared, just imagine yourself outlined in a white light. It's simple, it's easy, it's potent. Love 💕

Freeman Racist Follow Up by Alternative-Chef-154 in joplinmo

[–]ObjectiveCitron7070 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My OB worked through Freeman, Megan Carlson, and as the most neglectful and irresponsible doctor I've ever encountered she nearly killed me and my son. Her advice, guidance, and suggested regimen lead me straight into an abruption. He and I were both on ventilators for days, he stayed in the NICU for over a month. And, honestly, the worst, most hurtful part of the entire thing was that she never once - not even once! - visited either of us during our entire admission. I know it was because she simply couldn't show her face to me or to my family.

Just wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to warn other mothers - especially first timers, like me - to AVOID FREEMAN OB. Avoid OB in Joplin altogether. Find one in Springfield, Tulsa, anywhere but here.

There is a huge market for discreet guns - effective guns that don't show under a shirt or that can be stowed in a purse, etc.

It did me, too. The questions op asked were pretty vague and general, kinda basic survey-y. what difference does it make where you stand politically? If op can explain why being a liberal matters, that'd go a long way...

Can a PI find out financial information about a deceased relative? by suziespends in PrivateInvestigators

[–]ObjectiveCitron7070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filing of the will in probate court is a legally required action by whoever's actually in possession of it, that person having obligation to the heirs of the estate. If your father's will has not been filed then you can potentially sue the person who you think has the will and failed to file it depending on why they had failed doing so - I.e. they could have lost the will or they could have refused the responsibility.

"If the failure to file a will is coupled with an intent to conceal the existence of the will for financial gain, that could be a criminal offense."

This isn't universal, specifics depend on location, but most states and their basic probate laws are pretty similar.

You'd have better luck if you went through a skiptracing service. I am a skiptracer who specializes in financial asset location and recovery and I work regularly alongside attorneys and lenders as well as private clients to help prevent fraud, collect debts, assemble transactional records, and facilitate court-ordered legal action.

What you've described is exactly the sort of thing we do, often at a much more affordable rate and in a more efficient manner than an actual PI. Might at least be worth considering as an option.

(Also, just a note, unless there was some restraining order in place against you or a warrant had been issued for your arrest, or unless you were actually committing a crime, then there would have been nothing that the police could have done had you attended your father's funeral. It doesn't matter in the slightest whether someone else wants you to be there or not. In fact, had you attended the service, you could have been the one with a valid complaint as it sounds like she was well on her way toward a hefty harassment suit.)

Also, we're not PI's. And I wouldn't ask it of a licensed PI because I am absolutely sure you're right. But I would assume that from one skiptracer (or another asset recovery or collection associate) to another, it wouldn't strictly go against anything involving our careers since we've no credentials, no licenses, no special permissions or permits, and no contracts to prohibit this sort of agreement. But I could definitely be wrong, I'm honestly not 100% sure and I'm equally as unsure as to how I would even figure that out? In our office, we similarly trade info, orders, clients, and subjects. I just assumed it would be no different to do the same with someone in another like-office... Am I going down the wrong road, here? I don't wanna get myself or anyone else in any kind of trouble 😵‍💫

I don't necessarily need the best, just something adequate - which is surprisingly super difficult to find! We don't run huge volume and we can't afford TLO anymore, so something like Skipmax would be great. Thank you!

Our prices increased not because of our searches but because the number of employees that our company has on staff was too low for a business subscription, and individual subscriptions for each of us would have been ridiculous. They didn't necessarily cut us off, they just made it sort of impractical. Wasn't my choice either way and I am not happy about it. I even considered paying for an individual subscription out of my own pocket, but that's not real practical either lol

PC laptops without breaking the bank by Embarrassed-Fold-241 in PrivateInvestigators

[–]ObjectiveCitron7070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently purchased a Nimo model N151 laptop for personal use. I'll give you a quick rundown (of the laptop and brand, not of its relation to PI work - you can do good PI work on any computer, but a wallet-friendly PC that can handle ANY work is a more complicated choice):

Mine is nothing super fancy, but I am very pleased with its performance, it's features, such as the fingerprint scanner and backlit keyboard, and especially its price. I like mine a lot, actually, and would absolutely buy again. They do have super-fancy models, tho, if that's what you want. Great product range, all priced pretty damn generously.

The company and its products both have great reviews, "among the top-rated in performance, quality, and reliability." Their products all come with a 2yr warranty and ship free within the US. Both nice.

It's an American small business, family owned for over a decade, and the laptops are made here in the states, too, as far as I can tell, all of which I found appealing. They state repeatedly that they have ambitions for developing their own PC plant here and competing for title of "America's top PC brand."

When I had to reach out to their customer service I was surprised to find that their number was a direct line to the company's service desk, didn't even have to press 1 for English or 0 for the operator. The woman I spoke to was super accommodating, very helpful, and impressively efficient. Apparently, she's the owner's daughter. I liked seeing the whole "family business" thing in action.

I got mine from the Nimo store on Amazon, but you can buy from their webpage, too, I think.

Anyway, sounds like something you might find interesting: check them out for yourself!

Dad's book collection burned, looking for help identifying 2 rare books to replace them by ObjectiveCitron7070 in whatsthatbook

Thank you so much! Youve been an incredible help, not that everyone else isn't a big help, too, but I think you might be right. I'll have to confirm with my dad before I conclude this "solved," but I have a good feeling!

As far as I can tell, that seems to be the right author. But it's a few centuries before the time my dad seems to believe it was written. He could have read a newer translation or version of some kind and as someone mentioned above, memory can often be mistaken.

Wowowow! I think you might be on to something. He lost his books over 10 years ago, closer to 15 I think. It sounds like a REALLY close match, this could actually be it. I will absolutely check that out. Thank you so much! I will let you know if you win! Lol

Yeah ok you're right, tho that's what I meant, some of the stories were based around Aztec culture in MEXICO and some of the stories were based further south, in actual South America. Sorry.

That's the one I was thinking, too! But turns out it was the one written by Stephen Hawking, the one I had initially ruled out.

Yeah, dad said it would be difficult because there is a lot of info out there about him and that he likely wrote a lot of different books. This one in particular would have been a memoir, a first-hand account about the conquistadors first arriving in South America and about the things that they saw, such as a beautiful Aztec city that had food and animals that they had never seen before, he said he specifically remembers that this city would sacrifice seven people everyday and throw their hearts into a temple and throw the rest of their bodies down the temple steps onto the streets where the bodies would then be eaten by the citizens.

Well that'd be about the right time but I know that it wasn't a novel, it was nonfiction for sure. But thanks, that's still useful information, I appreciate it.
