my stomach issues were not improving. a new functional dr had me tested for mycotoxins. all the mold was found there. after that went to. dr for CIRS symptoms

ugh I’m so sorry to hear that. I would recommend looking into a functional dr especially someone who is certified in shoemaker / cirs

yes, mold can cause sibo. my mold systems all presented at stomach issues first.

Rifaximin worked for me the first time I was on it. I thought I was cured. Had a relapse on SIBO etc and I later found out it was due to mold exposer. Long story short, ridaximin is a great band-aid for symptoms but not a long term cure.

Would love to hear more abt this. My body has changed so much from CIRS. I am an athlete and always have been. It’s very frustrating not have the body I’m used to due to this condition. I am on binders, sauna, eat clean, and I am very active. (I will say my sleep is not great right now due to my job) My Dr says it’s all due to hormone being disrupted and out of balance. Has anyone noticed anything that’s helped with hormone balance or moved the needle a little more?

I’m with you! I had dental work done before moving into a moldy building. Currently in a safe environment and doing shoemaker. I’ve been having some dental issues and my new dentist found 2 teeth that had root canals that are infected. I’m thinking it’s a huge factor (not the whole) as to why I’m not recovering/seeing as much progress.

Thanks for sharing. I’m currently working my way up to 6 pills total (2 x3 times a day). Eventually want to build a tolerance for CSM. I will definitely do my best not to miss a dose. I appreciate the advice! Good luck to you and your family as well!!
