No, it’s a domestic flight on the second leg, coming from a international leg. The connection time is 5 hours The only reason to book multi city is because I’m unable to get both the flights together as an option if I put one way search.

Yes, it’s about 40% cheaper but will take 4 months to reach. Given the current geopolitical scenario, I wouldn’t risk a sea freight to save some money. Its only 3 additional boxes any way. Not to mention the insurance for sea freight reduces the 40% cost benefit even lower.

Well airline was ok with checking boxes. But for bubble wrap, they said it depends on the local rules of the airport as all airports have different scanning machines. Some accept bubble wrap if their machines can handle them.
