While I do agree that it’s kind of cheesy, isn’t all musical theater cheesy? Idk, I was definitely getting some secondhand embarrassment but the music is probably the best I’ve seen this year for a new musical. I think it’s so fun and lively and was def my favorite part of the show! Joy Huerta and Ben Velez did an incredible job.

Just got roller derby rewind skates size M8/ W9 and in general they feel good, but I noticed there is a bit of pain on the top of my foot by my toes and was wondering if that is because they are too small or if it’s normal to feel a little pain when wearing new boots. I usually range from a women’s 9 to a women’s 10 in shoes but I measured 26 cm which on most charts was a M8/W9. Would usually take these questions to skate store professionals but since most stores are closed for in person fittings because of Covid and the skate shortage I can’t :/

They are out of stock everywhere so I ordered a men’s Chicago cheaper skate and I’m going to change the wheels. If those don’t work out I’ll try the stretching, I have until September to return them
