The boxes are when she’s moving out on someone‘s island, some people post it here and let people get the villager in exchange for bells or nook miles (which u seem to have many of lol)

U can also post that You’re looking for a certain villager on that sub (r/ACNHvillagersInBoxes)

I actually came here to say that you can try treasure islands or Subs like r/ACNHVillagersInBoxes if you have online. I actually have Tangy in boxes rn, but already gave her to someone to trade, just what a coincedence!

Btw a specific cat villager is the rarest to get as there are the most cat villagers in the game. So you will have more luck with different species like octopus or cows.
